Thoughts

We are one issue away from the big conclusion of Flashpoint. There has been death, drama, and several interesting surprises along the way. Flashpoint #4 is no exception.

In my opinion, this issue was one of the better so far in the Flashpoint title. Both the art and the writing were spot on, and that made me very happy.

Visual Highlights

  1. Elemental Woman

I thought it was really cool that in the Flashpoint world there is an Elemental woman instead of Metamorpho. I have nothing against Metamorpho, I just liked that in this world the character equivalent is a woman.

  2. No more pizza

I thought this was a cleaver way to put things into perspective.

  3. Mystical cat seeing powers

Ok, so Cyborg doesn't have mystical cat seeing powers, but apparently his cyber eye does!

  4. In my world...

Letting Billy have a glimpse into Berry's world, even if by accident, was cool.

  5. Let it burn in hell

Good ol' Batman. One more factor to point out that the Flashpoint version might be a little more messed up than the normal Batman.

  6. Bruce would have come

Nothing like throwing a low blow to get someone to do what you want.

  7. An epic battle

I just really liked this panel. What an epic battle!

  8. Flashpoint's Justice League

Apparently this is what the Flashpoint's Justice League looks like. Every good version has a Batman. Don't forget that!

  9. S.H.A.Z.A.M.!

I didn't know that a magic weilding person could pull the Marvel kids out of their super form. Is this just a Flashpoint thing?

  10. Just a boy...

The writers of the Flashpoint books do not seem to have a problem with killing off characters. Little Billy is no exception.

  11. Look what you did

Finally we get to see the Reverse Flash.
